‘Lunch Time’ competes in US fest

Iranian short film ‘Lunch Time’ has been scheduled to go on the screen at the 23rd edition of James River Short Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Alireza qasemi, the short animation is to compete with 9 other shorts from the US, Russia, and Canada.

Lunch Time’ has participated at 70 international film festivals approved by Oscar Academy Awards. It has also attended the competition section of Cannes Film Festival.  

The 15-minute film is about a high school girl who attends a hospital to identify her mother's dead body. The people in charge at the hospital would not let her into the morgue because of her young age.

The event is slated for October 20-22, 2017.
